Abstract Art Fractal Videos - creating Abstract Art in a Fractal Art Program
This is a little look into my world of how I create fractal art. Initially I did it to just show how fractal art works with my abstract tweak but it has been a really great experiment for me. Often when I'm creating, one thing will lead to another and I often go past areas that I would like to explore further. The problem is I may have something that I really like but then I just do a tweak or colour change and I'm off again exploring that. Of course I won't record all my fractal art but it's given me some kind of food for thought.
I welcome all feedback in the below comments area and would love to know which areas you prefer (let me know by the seconds). Each fractal abstract art piece can take me sometimes days to be happy with an end result and often I end up coming back to pieces that I haven't worked on in months to tweak and play with. These videos are very short and it does not take me only this amount of time to create, they're just an example.
Abstract Art Fractal Video Creation 2 - looking for shapes and combining layers.
General consensus from video one was a little long and little boring. Thanks hubby, thanks mum! (I do appreciate the honesty though!) Sooooo... this is shorter and more interesting. I hope!
This abstract art fractal video shows a few different processes. First I'm playing around with the formula trying to find some interesting shapes. I'm also combining layers with different colour variations.
In the end I finish with adjusting levels and contrast in photoshop. The video doesn't show a very good quality image so I've added in the abstract art fractal that I was working on. It was such a quick creation for video purposes and is not a piece that I have for sale.
Abstract Art Fractal Creation Video 1 - looking at subtle colour variations
This is the first abstract art fractal video I've put together. It just shows slight variations in colour, texture and playing with layers.
I like the simplicity of around 1.02 seconds and again at 1.13 and a similar one at 1.38 with the contrast of the white. Even the black at 1.39sec is nice and velvety. At 1.51 it changes to white which would be worth exploring too. Could do with some contrast though.
I've had a play around after the video to see what I can find that I like and the below images are some of them.
The below is using the same layers just rotated, colour adjusted, slightly tweaked ... For my final choice I chose the below image to the right and called it 'Golden Autumn Days.'
